Welcome to study Global and Multicultural Activities as a part of VOC II course.
Intended Learning Outcomes
The student teacher
understands the role of the cultural background in the human behavior. The
student teacher is able to support the student’s adjustment process in a new
environment. The student teacher is also able to guide and enhance the learning
of a multicultural group. The student teacher knows the various sectors of the
school’s international activities and is able to enhance his/her own
globalization processes as well those of the students.

Online learning
This is an online self-study course which you can
complete at your own speed. The deadline for completing the course is Friday 28th of February, 2014.
Course overview
The course consists of three different modules:

Activity 1: What Is Culture? What Are Cultural
Differences?
·
Activity 2: Teaching and Learning in
Multicultural Environment
·
Activity 3: Your School's International
Activities
The purpose of the first module is to
"warm-up" by prompting you to think what we mean by culture and
cultural differences. The second part is the most laborious. In that part you
should do bit of empirical research and self-reflection on teaching and
studying in multicultural environment. Finally, the purpose of the third part
is to get familiar with your school's international activities and to
develop an action plan to enhance your internationalization.
